Volstok | Stievie

We recently worked with the charming Wouter and Thijs from Volstok in Belgium on a series of 3 commercials for Belgian television-on-demand service Stievie. Volstok designed and directed from Belgium and our team here in London made it move. Easy. Here’s a link to our favourite (with some useful subtitles for the non-flemish speakers among us.)

Kaspersky

This is a big one for us! In partnership with the fabulous people at Peepshow we created 8 films for Kaspersky the internet security experts. Kaspersky approached Trunk directly so we acted as both agency AND production company, which proved to be an interesting and fruitful experience. We were asked to create a concept that would help explain their various products while remaining bright, colourful and engaging. In order to work globally and be easily translated into 14 languages we worked within a simple set of rules and colours. Pete Mellor directed the films with art direction by Miles Donovan and illustration by Spencer Wilson. Once again we worked with our friends at Fonic for sound design and the ever-versatile Ivan Arnold was composer.

Volta NY

If anyone’s in New York in the near future you might like to check out our director Jock Mooney’s exhibition at 82 Mercer St. Which is part of the Volta Art Fair. Jock’s work constructs a carnivalesque horror show that raises a distorted mirror to the modern world, one populated by grotesque, morphed effigies of historical, mythical and religious figures and weird animals. The exhibition runs from the 7th to the 10th of march. Opening hours and more info can be found here www.voltashow.com

Here’s a sneaky peek behind the scenes of Lore&Jun’s latest music video for a certain 90’s rock act who are making a storming comeback. It was a drafty and cold two day shoot in deepest north London. We’ve seen a rough edit and it’s already looking splendid.
