Layla made five of these “toy poems” for the latest series of Show Me Show Me back in the autumn. We can finally share them with you now they’ve been transmitted. This could be the winner of the coveted “most fun job ever” prize. Spending a couple of weeks making props surrounded by bits of cardboard, scissors and paint followed by two weeks on a stop motion shoot with the ever-glorious John Harmer, all the while listening to 1950s detective stories on the radio. The end result is quite nice as well. Here’s “Teddington” our favourite.

There’s been some strangeness going on in the studio over the past few days as Alasdair and Jock have been preparing for a stop motion shoot. The shoot’s today and we’ll upload the final result in a week or two.
