We are pleased to announce that we are taking part in Secret 7″ a groovy mystery-art project. It aims to restore a bit of excitement to the old 7″ single. The brief is to create a unique cover for a 7″ single from an eclectic variety of artists including The Cure, Florence and the Machine and DJ Shadow. But wait, there’s a catch, although each cover will be beautiful and a covetable object in it’s own right there will be no indication as to who created the cover or even the band name or what is on the track inside, it’ll do your heads in. These unique 7″ singles will then be sold to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The covers will also be exhibited at The Idea Gallery in Shoreditch in April.

This mad colour extravaganza was diretced by Pomp&Clout for Mad Decent. The backgrounds and effects were all made through broken analog video mixers, vcrs, color correctors etc. then the original footage was keyed, laid on top, and sandwiched between even more analog degradations.
