Portuguese history lesson of the day

Boy says words

Last friday we had the sound record for Trunk director Mirrorshade’s new film. Here’s Mina Mirrorshade with the film’s narrator Daniel Roche who you may recognise as Ben the little rascally rapscallion from BBC TV’S “Outnumbered“
The recording went brilliantly and we are already rubbing our hands together with glee at the prospect of seeing the finished film.

The Naked and the Dead

Here’s another video for Silvery directed by Alasdair Brotherston and Jock Mooney. It was filmed at the Jerwood space where Jock was an artist in residence for a month, no live animals were harmed during the making of this video, but the train driver needed counselling.

Nasty Habits hatches from long-term egg

After a long old while and lots of hard work Layla’s comedy series  “Nasty Habits” is finally making it’s way onto the bbc comedy website, this is the pilot episode. Click and watch and (hopefully) laugh. You may have seen this episode  as it  has actually been up on the Trunk website for a while but why not  give it a re-watch to prepare yourself for the avalanche of hilarity which will follow over the next few weeks as episodes 2 to 6 are released.

San Miguel | Primavera

No-Domain have just finished directing this fantastic new piece for Publicis Madrid through 8 de agosto. The piece was created to celebrate San Miguel taking over the sponsorship of the Primavera Music Festival in Barcelona. The guys worked with a special effects team making the one metre pinatas which then had objects blasted out of them using a highly compressed air canon. The spot has also just won Silver in the San Sebastián Advertising Festival

Happy Fathers Day

If you’re seeing this and thinking about a Fathers Day card, it’s too late, it was last Sunday, sorry. But yay Rok’s first commercial for Nickelodeon! Rok and Siri got together and Siri worked up the initial design, which was then tweaked as we went through the production, building on the layers before finally adding a photographic plate for the animation to sit in. Colour, texture, and damn quick delivery. Fun all round! See Trunk-kids for more fun.

P-Yar-Tay

Thanks everyone for coming to the trunk screening, it was absolutely packed and we mangaed to get through 400 beers, good work! Here’s to the next one, hopefully at the end of November if all goes to plan, until then listen to the beat of the people and Party on!
