“Paws for Thought” is the obvious thing to write

On 24, Mar 2011 | No Comments | In Home, news / blog | By Richard

Holy cow we’ve been busy this month, no time to update our blog, eat proper food or, in Richard’s case, wash.

We’ve just watched this and it’s cheered us right up

Rumple the studio dog has been similarly naughty recently eating slippers, gloves and an animator’s breakfast. However she hasn’t been as adorably guilty afterwards.
We’ll be posting up some new bits of work over the next week or so.

Alasdair and Jock will be appearing on Nemone’s 6Music show this afternoon at two o’clock to talk about their video for “Bubblegum” which is Nemone’s video of the week.

The plan is for Al to tie Nemone to a chair while Jock broadcasts seminal 80’s classic “St. Elmo’s Fire (Man in Motion)” on a loop. Listen, it should be good

TAKE THAT TRUNK

On 17, Dec 2010 | No Comments | In news / blog | By Richard

Trunk Animation’s Rok Predin has been working for Take That at this year’s Royal Variety Performance. Take That, who sang two songs from their No1 album Progress, headlined the show. Their song ‘SOS’ was accompanied by some amazing visuals by Trunk Animation’s Rok. The animated backdrop, based on an original idea by Richard Cullen, featured an apocalyptic vision of London with iconic buildings burning behind the pop quintet. The show watched by an estimated 150 million people worldwide was broadcast yesterday. Sam Pattinson at Treatment studios commissioned Trunk Animation who turned the work around in less than a week. Trunk also helped build the visuals behind Take That’s other song ‘The Flood’ using green screen techniques to multiply and animate a dancer.
