Alasdair + Jock
Alasdair + Jock met at Edinburgh College of Art. Alasdair plumped for animation whilst Jock went down a sculptural route. Both went on to develop successful careers in their chosen pursuits and tested the water collaboratively for the first time in 2008 with ‘Throw Me to the Rats’ – a music video featuring paper puppets for the Canadian band Tom Fun Orchestra. This video went onto achieve ‘Video of the Year’ at the subsequent East Coast Music Awards (Canada’s version of The Brits), and marked the start of successful string of other award winning collaborations. They have created music videos for the likes of David Gilmour, Lily Allen, Madness, Wave Machines, Coldplay and The Tom Fun Orchestra, as well as films for New Look, Land Rover, and Coke.
